“I can’t figure out where to start”
“I don’t know where to turn to for help”
“I’ve no idea how to tackle this”
”What do I do now?”
“I know where I want to be, but I can’t figure out how to get there”
If you’ve ever heard someone voice their frustrations in this way you’ve been listening to someone who can benefit from Personal Development & Life Coaching.
As a qualified coach I provide support for all sorts of people to help them achieve their goals or overcome challenges. These may be personal in nature or workplace related, but they all share the same starting point: someone who is feeling stuck, frustrated, unhappy or worried about something.
Part of my role is to provide support and guidance that is subjective, unbiased and enabling; helping my clients to identify the options open to them to begin tackling specific challenges or achieve particular goals.
The other is to help clients decide for themselves which options are best for their circumstances and them, before committing themselves to a plan of action; taking things one step at a time until they have found the solution to their challenge, or achieved that previously elusive goal.
When people ask me what personal development and life coaching means I tell them it’s simply the process of helping people reach the end of their personal rainbow, by guiding them from where they currently are in their life to where they want to be.
Helpful discussions and questions designed to help you take a step back, reflect, and raise your awareness of what your issues are, the options available to you, and the commitment required to overcome them. You’ll need to be open and frank about what you want to get out of your life, what will make you happier and more fulfilled, where you are now…and where you want to be.
Our discussions can be held as organised face-to-face meetings, by phone, via email or even through SKYPE. Most sessions last between 45 minutes to an hour but much of this depends on the type of communication being used and what you need to cover in any one session (e.g. sometimes the support needed may simply require a 10 minute phone call).
Do you need my help?
My experience of corporate training showed me how people shine when they achieve something they thought was beyond them. Now I use those skills and my training as a Personal Development and Life Coach to help people overcome their personal and workplace challenges; making positive, life-affirming changes to enable them to reach the end of their rainbow.
I offer a free introductory consultation so you can ask any questions you may have about life coaching and all enquiries are dealt with in complete confidence.
You’ll hear a friendly and receptive voice at the other end of the telephone when you make that first call (mine!). Trust me, you are never alone – the challenges you face can be overcome if you are ready to tackle them.
So if you identify with any of the words of frustration shown at the top of this page please contact me to find out whether life coaching can help you make positive changes to your life.
